Dr. Dave Wagner and the hygienists and office staff were knowledgeable, friendly and thorough. I moved from out of state. All of the necessary questions were asked of me to obtain a full history and work up. My hygienist was extremely thorough during my cleaning and listened and responded to my requests and comments. Not very conversational, but that's not what I want from a hygienist, anyways. My mouth feels extremely clean and she was very detailed in that, and I have had my fair share of hygienist who are not thorough, so I know how that feels. I work in sleep medicine technology, and Dr. Dave Wagner and I had several lively discussions about this industry. He crafts oral appliances to help with mild snoring, and even showed me one of his creations. Beyond this, Dr. Dave Wagner was detailed in the steps that I need to take to improve my oral health and spent the necessary time going over this with me. I was very pleased and lucky to have found a dentist office that I feel at home at after only my first visit.

I had made my appointment months ago to get a crown on a tooth that deserved a root canal back in November 2024. Mine, though since then I had to go through an emergency dental procedure while on vacation in Phoenix that got more complicated due to infection around my heart and in my bloodstream. What a great experience!! Hadn't been to the dentist in 12 years. Had a problem with my tooth over the holiday weekend and they got me in as soon as they could! I was in and out of the office with a fixed tooth in under an hour and a half. judgment, free zone. Scheduled my next app to go back and start taking care of my teeth again. The staff are very helpful and considerate and check in with you through out the process. Such a pleasant experience! Never thought I'd be anxiety free going to the dentist. The lovely lady Lola, at the front desk is the best. From my previous walk-in to schedule my appointment, and the appointment itself, she was very helpful making sure my insure was accepted, and after the appointment she took extra time to go through my policy with me, to show what co-payments to expect for the upcoming work to be done. The hygienist was polite, and nice to talk with. Dentist was knowledgeable and put together a priority list for work to be done, but didn't get to chat with him much.

However, recently Dr. Wagner and Lola went above and beyond to fit me in (miraculously) for a dental emergency that left unresolved would have complicated my efforts to receive treatment for another serious health matter. Brittany is such a great hygienist, I never felt a thing. The doctor is always open and explains every step of treatment, his assistant Carmen goes above and beyond for her patients, and the front desk manager Lola never misses a beat and makes sure you know exactly what you're paying for and why. Dr. Wagner is an amazing dentist who caters to patient needs and is willing to work with you. All of his dental assistance are nice and sincerely care about the patients. One of my favorite things about going to the dentist is when you walk in through the door being welcomed by Lola who works at the front desk she is an amazing human and genuinely cares about each patient who comes in. I have been going to this dentist since I was 10 years old and am now a sophomore in college. Prior to coming to Dr. Wagner‘s office I was terrified of the dentist and had only had bad experiences that did cause real trauma. After my first time visiting Dr. Wagner’s Office I was met with kindness and an understanding of my fears and a willingness to work with me and to make me feel comfortable and safe. Since then I have learned to overcome my fear the dentist and truly attribute that to the wonderful team working at Dr. Wagner’s office.

I moved to Tacoma so I transferred my care here. Everyone who works here is really friendly. It isn’t a giant office with turnover so they remember you too. And even being a small office they have much more up to date technologies than I have seen at any other dentist. Dr. Wagner made my crown in-house so I didn’t have to have a bunch of appointments and it was super convenient.
